Hi!  I am trying to put together a roster for a football program using Data Resource Manager.  When I ask them system to generate the records, it crashes the program every single time.  I have even started a complete new file and new CSV file to see if that is the problem.  I have shut everything down - restarted my computer and it is still happening.  Once I have this page generated, I was exporting to PDF and placing it in the actual program.

Hi @Shelly,

I'm not entirely sure why you are seeing the crash, your file works without issue here... Your CSV file has unnecessary columns which you could delete, resave and then update the file in the Data Merge Manager before generating the merged file, I don't think it will make any difference but certainly worth a try...

Could you upload the crash report so the moderation team can take a look at possible causes for the crash...

Crash Report

Open the Console app from Applications > Utilities. In the left-hand panel click Crash Reports - you will see a list of Crash Reports. Find the relevant crash report - it should display the app's name in the Process Name column. Right-click and select Reveal in Finder. Please send us the .crash file.

Hi @Shelly,

Many thanks for the crash report, someone in the Serif moderation or development team will hopefully take a look to see if there is anything obvious indicating the possible cause of the crash and then let you know...

Like other Serif staff, the developers have moderation rights on these forums. However, it’s mostly QA and tech support staff who interact with customers here. :)

Hi @Shelly,

I also don't get a crash with your files and the Crash Report doesn't have anything that helpful in.

Can you try starting Affinity from Applications, while holding down the Control key and you'll get shown a Clear User Data screen and 3 options will be selected and you can just click on Clear.  Affinity will then load as normal, now try doing a merge and let me know the results :)
