mflowe Posted August 2, 2024 Posted August 2, 2024 I'm trying to switch over to Affinity Photo because of Adobe's slimy actions regarding user agreement and cancellation fees. So far I'm not convinced. Miss my Tony Kuyper Actions Panel. He was kind enough to include instructions on how he made the actions. One includes a "stamp visible layer" keyboard command. Is there such a command I can use in Affinity Photo? On a Mac. Thanks. Quote
firstdefence Posted August 2, 2024 Posted August 2, 2024 I think that is Merge visible in Affinity, so right click on a layer and you should see merge visible as an option. It's also available under the Layers menu. mflowe Posted August 2, 2024 Author Posted August 2, 2024 Thanks for the reply. I just wonder why he didn't say "Merge" instead of "stamp". There is that command in Photoshop. Course I don't know how long the "merge" command has been in PS. I've had the actions for 15 years. Anyway, I will try it. Quote

I think it’s because ‘Merge’ (in Photoshop) loses the original layers, whereas ‘Stamp’ retains the originals while creating as many copies as you want. firstdefence and Popeshku 2 Quote Alfred Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for Windows • Windows 10 Home/Pro Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for iPad • iPadOS 17.5.1 (iPad 7th gen)
