Supafur Posted August 2, 2024 Posted August 2, 2024 Hello, As explained in the title, I’m wondering if there’s a way (menu, gesture, etc) to hide symmetry grey guide and the blue outline and little cross in the middle of the brush when I’m drawing. the thing that puzzles me is that it SOMETIMES seems to disappear, giving me the possibility to draw on a full blank screen without any kind of visual distraction, but then it comes back for some unknown reasons. Am I missing something ? Are those guides temporarily disappearing some kind of bug ? also, a second question. Is there a way to do symmetrical drawing in vector, the same way you can do it in pixel mode. I know it wasn’t possible in previous version, but I’m wondering if it’s now avaible since v2.5 ? thanks already for your attention and answers Quote

As far as I know, you can only disable the symmetry line by turning off symmetry. For the "blue outline and little cross" it sounds like you have enabled the Stabilizer function (also in the Context Toolbar), and again your only way to remove that outline and cross would be to turn off the Stabilizer. Supafur Posted August 2, 2024 Author Posted August 2, 2024 Oh… ok then would be a nice improvement if we could do so, imo. I think many ppl, especially in the « sketching », early stage of a project would be happy to focus on the design/drawing ONLY Quote

You can use a flipped duplicated symbol to achieve the effect. I use desktop version APub to demonstrate, it should work for iPad too. Recording 2024-08-02 235805.mp4 Quote
