Publisher - Crashs when programme is open during background update

Hi all,

We are updating Affinity in our company with msiexec as a background task, distributed via Kaspersky. Runs well for Photo and Designer. But we have an issue with Publisher after the update. If a user is clicking in a text box and presses space or inserts a new line, the programme crashes to desktop. We are pretty sure, that this problem only happens, when Publisher is running ath the client computer when the background task starts. With kasperyks we only have the opportunity to enforce a shutdown of the whole system before starting the task. Which is no option for us.
Does anybody knows how we could manage our silent background installation to avoid this problem? Maybe a command to force the programme shutdown? Another way could be to enable auto-updates for the client installation. As far as I know it was not possible in the past?

From what I've seen, support for these kind of questions from users with business licenses is usually handled directly with Serif, not via the forums. If you don't have a specific account contact there, I suggest emailing corpsupport@serif.com and see what they can tell you.
