There is no clue that Affinity will fix Khmer Unicode.

Welcome to the Affinity Forums @Khemrin!

This is logged with our development team to be implemented in a future update - but unfortunately they have confirmed this would require a large amount of rewriting the Affinity text engine and therefore is no small task. Due to this, we're unable to provide any timescale for when these languages may be supported, our apologies.
