Pen Line Visible When File Exported

When I export this file, the pen line serving as the path is still visible underneath the artistic text. What am I doing wrong? Or is this a bug?

I'm new to Affinity. So perhaps there's something I'm missing.

The Text Frame panel will allow you to remove/hide it

Window > Text > Text Frame

Hi @GNichols and welcome to the forums,

Using the Artistic Text tool to add text to a curve should set the stroke value of the curve to none automatically... do you have a duplicated layer containing just the stroke perhaps...

If not could you upload your Affinity file so we can take a look...

Another image of it. I've watched videos of people typing on a path and using the pen tool and artistic text. I've done everything they have step by step, but their path disappears when unselected. Mine does not.

I think Publisher keeps the Curve value by default?

Thank you for the kind welcome! I was able to remove the line in the text frame.
