DSGraphicDesign Posted July 31, 2024 Posted July 31, 2024 I seem to have a bug in publisher where the edges of the main window have disappeared (see image). The part of the window which should have the close window and other options on it. I don't know what else should be there but I know it's missing, maybe some tools? I can't move the window around the screen now also because of this top bar being invisible/missing too. Never encountered this before. I've reset the program and restarted my computer but had no luck bringing it back. I've also checked I'm on the latest version. I'm using Mac OS just FYI. Thanks. Quote
MikeTO Posted July 31, 2024 Posted July 31, 2024 Choose Window > Show Toolbar. You likely accidentally hit its shortcut. Tip: You can drag the window around the screen without the toolbar by dragging on part of the window that doesn't have controls. For example, the bottom of the Tools panel or the status bar. Pretty bizarre that you can actually hide the minimize and maximize buttons! Quote
DSGraphicDesign Posted July 31, 2024 Author Posted July 31, 2024 Nailed it! This is exactly it. Thank you both. 🙏 I wasn't sure what happened but seemed to happen out of the blue. Must be right about the shortcut. And yeah, bizarre you can hide those. Surely just use tab to hide all over just hiding such a specific selection? Maybe I'm overlooking how having this function is useful. Thanks again for the wisdom! Quote
