Hi

I am currently running Publisher 2 2.0 on my 2107 MacBook.  It meets all designated requirements. It is performing OK.

HOWEVER attempting to update Publisher 2 past 2.0 has failed numerous times without any indication of why other than update error

I have also only been able to update Designer to 2.1.1 - (2.2.5 outstanding) with the same issues.

Photo 2 is working well and up to date

Can anybody help

Some changes were made in the installation setup at some point after 2.0.4, and if you did not run the automatic update then you'll have to update manually now.

You can download the manual updater from: https://affinity.store/update/macos/publisher/2 and https://affinity.store/update/macos/designer/2

Sorry to hear you're having trouble @Anw5357!

In addition to what Walt has confirmed above, we always recommend using the latest version of Affinity apps, therefore I'd suggest installing the 2.5.3 update from the above links - equally, in order to use StudioLink in Publisher, you need to ensure that all 3 Affinity apps on your device are using the same version.

I can see this isn't the first time you've reported an update issue on the Forums:

The error message you're referring to usually indicates the apps haven't been installed correctly, so I'd also recommend ensuring that you have followed the procedure correctly with the newly downloaded installer files. This install process has been covered by my colleague previously here:

I hope this helps :)
