PixelMoshpit Posted July 31, 2024 Posted July 31, 2024 I just wanted to find out if something like this simple equation (attached image) is possible on the iPad AP whether that be importing presets from the desktop version into the iPad or manually going about it on iPad? If so, could I get help on how to go about it? Also, is it even possible to import presets for Equations or Procedural textures? The documentation is lacking, it seems. Quote
NotMyFault Posted July 31, 2024 Posted July 31, 2024 On iPad you can only open files with PT filters created on Desktop, and adjust input variables. You cannot add presets, create new PT layers or edit formulas. NotMyFault Posted July 31, 2024 Posted July 31, 2024 For simple tasks like filling alpha a channel mixer adjustment will do and it can be saved as preset on iPad. PixelMoshpit Posted August 3, 2024 Author Posted August 3, 2024 @NotMyFault Issue I've ran into is that when using it in a macro, adjusting the alpha channel sliders, doesn't allow you to "set adjustment parameters" later in the editing of that step in a macro. Why not? Quote
NotMyFault Posted August 3, 2024 Posted August 3, 2024 I don’t know. Macros are too limited (especially editing macros) and buggy (when run in parallel export jobs) that I gave up on using them, except for very specific tasks.
