Henriette W Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 I just copied some text (text format - no formatting) into an AFF Publisher document and found that there is a huuuuge difference between leading of 12 points and leading of 13 points. I set the character size to 10 points and wanted the leading to be 13, but the programme pumped the leading up to something enormous. So I set the leading to 12 points instead. No problem. Tried 13 points again... and it freaked out on me again. Another bug? Or did I just skip a step I am not aware of? Your help will be greatly appreciated. Kindly, Henriette Quote
h_d Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 Might be the baseline grid overriding the leading. What happens if you turn it off at document level via View>Baseline Grid...: You might also want to check Ignore Baseline Grid in Window>Text>Text Frame sfriedberg 1 Quote Affinity Photo 2.6.3, Affinity Designer 2.6.3 Affinity Publisher 2.6.3, Mac OSX 15.5, 2018 MacBook Pro 15" Intel.
