SansRT Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 Hey all, I'm a relatively long time user, and I use keyboard shortcuts extensively, and have long since mapped my own set. But I am still consternated by my inability to apply or cancel liquify mode using the keyboard. Like, say, with the return and escape keys, which I'm constantly instinctively trying to use, to no avail. I post this under the assumption that I am selectively stupid, and there is an easy way to do this with the keyboard, and I've just never run across it. I've googled, and searched this forum, and I'm stymied. Anybody have a way to do this? I'm not above hacking, if that's what it takes, but I'd be in ecstasy to discover that Serif did, in fact, provide a way to do this. Quote

To the best of my knowledge we cannot do this with the keyboard. Someone may chime in with a workaround. In my opinion the only stupid thing is that Liquify and the other Personas which do stuff (Develop and Tone Map) cannot accept the escape key or the return key. Seems utterly bizarre and has been this way for ever. There are questions about this for ever as well. MikeTO Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 This is an issue many of us have reported with Affinity. Some windows accept Return for OK or the submit button and others do not.
