Sassy Mae Posted July 29, 2024 Posted July 29, 2024 I am just learning Affinity Photo 2 for a Macbook Air. I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max and shoot Raw with it. When editing in the Develop persona under Lens I don’t see the 15 pro max identified on the drop down menu. Does Affinity Photo 2 not support it under Lens Correction or am I doing something wrong? GarryP Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 This FAQ thread tells you which cameras and lenses are supported: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/167741-list-of-supported-raw-formats-cameras-for-lens-correction-list-in-affinity-2x/ If you are having trouble finding what you want then if you can give us a full-screen screenshot showing us where you are looking for what you are looking for then someone should be able to advise further. Dan C Posted August 1, 2024 Posted August 1, 2024 Hi @Sassy Mae, As the above linked list shows, auto-lens correction is not supported for the iPhone 15 Pro Max when using the Serif Labs engine - however according to the following Apple article, this is a feature that is enabled on the camera directly, rather than when editing the images in post: https://support.apple.com/en-gw/guide/iphone/iphb362b394e/ios#:~:text=Turn Lens Correction off and, then turn off Lens Correction. Therefore I'd recommend ensuring this is enabled on your camera, and from my understanding further lens correction should not be required when editing the RAW image. As you're using Affinity on a macOS device, you can change to the Apple Core RAW engine in Affinity, which may help with developing your RAW files 'as designed' - as this will use Apples RAW processing for images taken on an Apple device. To change this, please navigate to Affinity Photo > Settings > Assistant > Develop Assistant... then change the RAW engine to Apple Core here: Now close and reopen your RAW file and this new engine will be used - I hope this helps Quote
