Simple Convert to Grayscale option for Vector Objects

I have a vector object that is some color. I would like a quick way to convert it into a grayscale equivalent. Similar to Illustrator's "Edit Colors > Convert to Grayscale" option

Found a topic from pre v2 that mentions this option, but haven't come across a dedicated v2 feedback request.
