I don’t know how, but out of the blue I accidentally added a brush cursor in Affinity Designer 2, and now I don’t know how to get rid of it.
Help, please. I’m sure many find it helpful but I find it distracting. Thank you so much!

Just guessing without a screenshot, but if you mean the little cross, perhaps you have pressed CapsLock. If so, just press it again.

Is there any way to show/hide that little cross if you don’t have a physical keyboard attached to your iPad? :/

Thanks for providing a screenshot here - it looks as though you've enabled 'Transform Origin' in the Move Tool, as this will indicate the current origin for your selected layer.

Please select the Move Tool on the left, then on the Context Toolbar open the tool dropdown menu (next to the 'three dot' Edit menu) and uncheck Enable Transform Origin.

Does this stop the icon from appear on your document please? :)

Here’s a gift of what’s going on. Sorry for quality, but you can still see that the blue thing moves with my brush. I don’t believe I have anything turned on with regards to transformation point. I hope this clarifies. Thank you again to everyone contributing help.

Thanks for providing that for me - it's certainly helpful!

You have the 'Window Stabiliser' enabled for the brush, set to '1px' in length, meaning the stabiliser is following your brush stroke almost exactly.

You can either turn off the stabilisation option, or increase the Window length to use the stabiliser to smooth your stroke as you draw:

I hope this clears things up :)
