PLEASE can some-one explain what's going on when I export and how to 'fix' it...
i.e. I've made a very simple test file... (Designer file attached with 2 images)
Image 1:
In Designer v2 I've a simple 50m x 50m page, with a 1m grid.
I've drawn 1m square using the pen tool and measured it's width, which confirms 1m.
Image 2:
I export the file as an SVG file and import it into Blender (v4.2)
The curve imports ok, but is Only 0.8m square.
(For what it's worth, I've tried dozens of tests/variations - so any help is welcomed- ty)

I believe the issue stems from Blender using a different DPI setting for its SVG import. They use 90 (see for example https://projects.blender.org/blender/blender/issues/107130#issuecomment-928885), whereas Affinity uses 72 in the export.  72/90 is 0.8, which explains why your 1m square in Affinity ends up as 0.8m square in Blender.

So the solution might be to change your export DPI in Affinity to 90.

@pbasdf - That is soooo good... A quick test exporting at 90dpi seems to fix this.
I had tried many variations, but didn't know what Blender was using. It seems to push the lines slightly off the grid, but the scale seems correct.
Ty very much - However... I may have a follow up question (which I'll try to post here tomorrow/soon - and make a few more tests first).

'really appreciated.

'just to add - I think this solves my query very well.
There seem to a some small rounding 'errors' (I've scaled up my affinity curves and exported as svg, then into blender), but nothing major.
Ty again (a big help)
