irokiee Posted July 28, 2024 Posted July 28, 2024 Hello! I am back again with the problem of pathways. Specifically export and expand stroke. I have created a decorative line with a pressure option. You can see it in the screenshot and in the attached file. After expanding the strokes I have no thicknesses only at the beginning and end. Not only is this the only option to create spot-coloured objects (because it's a layer for a convex label varnish), it doesn't work as expected.... Whether I want to make an expand stroke or immediately export as PDF - the effect is the same.... I can't turn it into a bitmap because I have a CMYK background underneath, and Affinity doesn't support SPOT in vector-bitmap brushes.... Only enlarge the paths with 6x and then (sometimes) a satisfactory effect comes out.... but this is not a solution if you are working on a series of products.... besides, generating a group of such paths takes a good 4 minutes and no effect... i realise it's a very thin line, but that's no excuse.... lines.afdesign Quote Windows 11 Pro X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING (rev. 1.0) - 32GB RAM - Ryzen 9 5950X - NVidia 2060 - Huion Kamvas Pro 20 + tilt (2019) LG Ultrawide LG 25UB55 - calibrated Colormunki Create - open source software Display Cal 3.8.3
Staff DWright Posted August 2, 2024 Staff Posted August 2, 2024 You can use the Stoke Width tool to to create the paths that you require and the line will keep its stoke width Quote
irokiee Posted August 2, 2024 Author Posted August 2, 2024 Have you tried using the file I attached? Let's determine that these line thicknesses suit me and my client...
