rwittwer
I'm used to Photoshop, but decided that upgrading is just too darn expensive. I'm new to Affinity. I'm trying to create a coloring book page. I need to desaturate my photo, but I can't find that capability. Has anyone done this? I would appreciate anyone's help. Thank you
Madame
I think you want an adjusment layer. Black and white? The adjustment layers are in the right side under the layers panel. Or perhaps an HSL adjustment, with the saturation brought all the way down? Rick G
I am adding this so someone can find it . I am no expert at this Load a Photo From the adjustments tab Turn it black and white Invert it Go to the layers tab and change the blend mode from normal to "lighten" If you still have dark areas, select them and adjust them as needed in a new layer Some add a touch of blur to the lines to soften them. I don't particularly car for that but by all means try it UPDATE: If you really want sketches and / or coloring pages the best answer comes from an Affinity Revolution tutorial drik 1 Quote Affinity Designer 2.2.2075 & beta 2.3.1.2212 Affinity Photo 2.2.2075 beta 2.3.1.2212Affinity Publisher 2.2.2075 & beta 2.3.1.2212 Windows 11 Pro Version 22H2 OS build 22621.1928 Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700 CPU @ 2.90GHz 2.90 GHz Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable) System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
