camloken
I'm using Affinity Designer 1.4.2 and I could not figure out how to edit a group. I double clicked the group to no avail. Finally I realized that I actually could edit the group, but there was no visual cue to tell me that I was in edit mode. I think having a greyed out transparent background would be helpful (similar to Adobe Illustrator's isolation mode). This would tell me that I'm now able to edit the group. Chris_K
Hi camloken There is no specific edit mode for the app however there are various methods to edit groups. Double clicking on an object in the group should enter the group and allow you to edit it. This should be shown by just that object being selected. You can also select objects using the layers tab. I think greying out the background would go against the flow of the app but perhaps a different visual aid may suit better. I'm going to move this to the feature request section as this is less of a big than a desired feature Quote Serif Europe Ltd - Check the latest news at www.affinity.serif.com
pier
When is isolation mode going to be implemented?Selecting stuff on the layer panes is a waste of time. Wiredframe
