fodder7
When I in node tool, I have 2 lines selected where the end node of one is on top of the begin of the other. I click the join button. The stroke scale changes from 1 on both lines to 1.4 for the combined. I do not have scale with object selected in "solid line style". How do I make it stop doing that. I want the stroke to be 1. BTW, thank you so much for an amazing software that is affordable.
Staff MEB Posted June 15, 2016 Staff Share Posted June 15, 2016 Hi fodder7, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) I believe this was already fixed in the latest version (Designer 1.4.2) released two days ago. You can check what version you're using going to menu Affinity Designer ▸ About.... If you don't have it yet please update to the latest version through the App Store app. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software | Affinity Quick Reference
R C-R
It does indeed seem to be fixed in 1.4.2. Yay! :) I was curious what would happen if the two lines had different stroke widths. It appears that the stroke width of the lower (in the layers panel) one is used.
