Stroke size changes when clicking join node tool

Recommended Posts

When I in node tool, I have 2 lines selected where the end node of one is on top of the begin of the other.  I click the join button.  The stroke scale changes from 1 on both lines to 1.4 for the combined.  I do not have scale with object selected in "solid line style".  How do I make it stop doing that.  I want the stroke to be 1.

BTW, thank you so much for an amazing software that is affordable.

Hi fodder7,

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

I believe this was already fixed in the latest version (Designer 1.4.2) released two days ago. You can check what version you're using going to menu Affinity Designer ▸ About....

If you don't have it yet please update to the latest version through the App Store app.

It does indeed seem to be fixed in 1.4.2. Yay!  :)

I was curious what would happen if the two lines had different stroke widths. It appears that the stroke width of the lower (in the layers panel) one is used.
