LaneG Posted July 22, 2024 Posted July 22, 2024 I just downloaded Affinity Photo and opened it up. I'm trying to figure out how to make the user interface fonts and icons bigger. I've tried several searches on this web site and can't find anything. How do I do this? Quote

If you're on macOS, you can change the user interface text size using Settings > User Interface > UI Font Size but you can't change the size of the icons. If you're on Windows, you can't change either the text or icon size. Back to my search for a good free or inexpensive photo editor. Quote
walt.farrell Posted July 22, 2024 Posted July 22, 2024 On Windows, you would have to adjust the Windows Display Scale setting, which will affect all applications. MikeTO Posted July 22, 2024 Posted July 22, 2024 And on macOS it's the same thing in System Settings > Displays, select one of the Larger Text options which scales the entire display and not just text for all apps. Then you should find a different application, I'm afraid. Nothing is provided within Affinity to do this. Under Windows Settings > System > Display, (select your monitor at the top, if multiple are connected), then scroll down to Scale and Layout, where you should see the option Change the size of text, apps and other items which by default is set to 100%. Changing this percentage value will adjust how large the Affinity UI appears on your screen, but will also affect other apps / Windows scale size. You may be prompted to sign out and back into your account after changing the value, and should you wish to return to the previous / default value, you can simply reset the value in Windows Display Settings and repeat this sign out/sign in process. I hope this helps Dai555 1 Quote
