GreyGhost
I've found that Affinity Photo 1.4.2 (Beta 5) is failing to quit properly and has to be force quitted resulting in the loss of all personalised UI settings and preferences such as keyboard shortcuts etc. System currently running on OSX Yosemite 10.10.5. Staff Callum Posted June 13, 2016 Staff Share Posted June 13, 2016 Hi GreyGhost, I have tried to replicate this at my end but at the moment I haven't been able to unfortunately. If you create a brand new blank document then try and quit the app does it close properly? C Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP. GreyGhost
Yes it works fine. It may be that the files I was working with were originally created using the MAS 1.4.1 version. These files are large 300 dpi compositions with many layers including various adjustments etc. I will try again to work with the files and report back should there be any further observations. GreyGhost
Forgot to say, that it will be later on this week as I have completed the visuals I required for the current project and am now using them as reference for drawing up my images (Painter) for submitting to my clients before I begin painting the finished artworks. Deadlines you understand!
GreyGhost
Just opened my drawn files which were saved out as .png's and played around with duplicating layers and applying levels to add the sense of distance in each finished drawn image. All layers were merged together and each file was exported out as a png file using Lanczos 3 separable. I had two individual files open. Upon closing each exported file I proceeded to quit the application. This once again resulted in the program hanging with the old spinning beach ball and had to be force quit. I repeated the whole thing in the MAS 1.4.1 version and all worked fine.
