Welcome to the Affinity forums.

Your SetupUI.log file shows that you have some operations awaiting a Windows restart, so I would start by trying that:

+	CheckPendingFileRenameOperations
+ PendingFileRenameOperations
+ \??\C:\Users\tiive\AppData\Local\Temp\PCWDA9E.xml
+
+ \??\C:\Users\tiive\AppData\Local\Temp\PCWDA9E.tmp
+

Thanks. That shows an MSI error 1612.

My guess (and it is a complete guess): You previously ran some kind of uninstaller application that wiped out some files that are needed for a reinstall, but did not remove everything it should have.

If you haven't already tried running the install "as administrator", you can try that. Right-click on the installer and choose "Run as Administrator"

If that doesn't work, my best suggestion is to try the Microsoft Uninstall Troubleshooter

Yes i ran unisnstaller programm before this, its honestly quite frustrating how poorly coded it is, i downloaded the affinity installer and all im asking it is to install it but in that case it thinks i already have it installed and just crashes on me, why it doesn’t have an option to totally reinstall if from scratch and delete or replace all the old files, im quite disappointed to be honest

What uninstaller did you use?

If it was simply asking Windows to Uninstall the program, that should have worked. If it was some other Uninstaller application, I would blame that application for doing it incorrectly, not the Affinity application.

It has worked for me in the past.

In what way didn't it work?

  • It found an entry for Designer, but selecting it made no difference?
    or
  • It found nothing to work on. For this one, it should allow you to specify a product key, and (from your SetupUI.log) I think you would want 397D0864-05AE-4528-92A5-465F043D9F1D
