So I had 2 quick questions, if I may.

Question 1)  I come from InDesign and I'm very used to the hotkeys from InDesign and for the most part a lot of the same hotkeys work in Affinity, is there a quick simply way to set all of my hotkeys to function as Adobe...like a profile that can be loaded up?  If not, that's okay...I'll learn Affinity's specific hotkeys

Question 2)  With Persona's, specifically the photo persona, if I'm working inside Publisher and I have 10 images on the page and I want to edit just one single image.  Is there away to select JUST that single image, click my persona button and edit just that one image without bringing in the entire document and all of it's images?

Thanks for all the help, I'm LOVING Affinity so far, and I'm sad that I really didn't know about them until all of the BS with Adobe. I'm so excited to see what the future of the software holds now with Canva purchasing them.

#1 - Anybody can create a shortcuts file and share it but I'm not aware of any InDesign shortcuts files floating around. Also, the shortcuts format has changed a few times and it's not always a good idea to load old shortcut files, so even if somebody had made one I wouldn't recommend using it.

#2 - you're not bringing the image into the persona, it's just the app is showing you different options. The document is open in the same program, just with a different interface. There is a File > Edit in Photo command which will open the selected image in Photo but that will open the Photo application and then open that image in it which is a more Adobe-like workflow.

Good luck!

Also, if I remember correctly, the format of the file is different for Mac and Windows.

That's great help, thank you!

1)  I guess my ultimate is to forget the old and move on with the new and just learn the shortcuts...LOL

2)  Ah, makes perfect sense, I somewhat figured that's what it was and I'm totally not sure how I never noticed the "Edit in Photo" option under file.  This will be most helpful!

I think the Edit in... command switches the entire document to another application. Only when it comes to an embedded/linked Affinity document (not a general raster image, as I understand the OP's question), the specific selected document will be opened. In this case, it is also possible to double-click on the layer thumbnail in the Layers panel.
