Problem description: Curve miter is different (visually) when applied Warp Group (any type, no edits needed) to curve, with non-default pressure graph (any change)

Application: Designer 2.5.2
Platform: Windows 10
Reproducable: Yes, from new document
HW Acceleration: OFF, (ON = not supported)

Example: bug-warp-to-pressure-adjusted-curve-with-sharp-node.afdesign

Reproduce:

  1. Create V shaped curve with significant width

  2. Edit line pressure (any will do)

  3. Apply Warp Group (any will do, for instance Quad) to curve, no edits needed

  4. Sharp node in the middle of the curve changed

For what it is worth I see the same on Mac OS.  I find that if I group a rectangle (with no fill or stroke) then the sharp corner is retained. 

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 
Affinity Designer 2.5.7 | Affinity Photo 2.5.7 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.7 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Hi @hunter_sk,

Thanks for reporting this.

Looks like this didn't happen in build 2.1.1, so something must have changed in one of updates after 2.1.1.

I've just logged this with the Developers and this thread will get a reply from the Affinity Info Bot when its been resolved :)
