caze
Greetings people, While I was working on a document I came across this option for text styles: Alignment of Numbering. I was hoping to be able to set the Alignment of a list to the right side of a text field (not only the text of the item but the number too -> see second image). So i tested the marked option, but it changes nothing, as i can tell. So it results in my first Question: What is this option for? Andthe second question: Is there a way i can achieve this with numbered lists?: (I know it probably looks ugly for now - but i have a different use for that) I hope you can help me with that. Cheers! walt.farrell
You could try putting a Tab before the number (\#) in the Text field. caze 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. I explained this in my manual (free download from the link in my signature below). Here's a screenshot of the example I gave in it: 1 hour ago, caze said: Andthe second question: Is there a way i can achieve this with numbered lists?: (I know it probably looks ugly for now - but i have a different use for that) As Walt stated, you'll need to add a Tab in the Text field and I recommend removing the tab after the period and replacing it with a space. It should look like this (you can't see it but there's a space after the period): You will also have to right-align the paragraph and create a right-aligned tab stop set to 0 from right. Here's a quick sample document showing this. numbered.afpub walt.farrell and caze 1 1 Quote Download a free PDF manual for Affinity Publisher 2.5 Download a quick reference chart for Affinity's Special Characters Affinity 2.5 for macOS Sequoia 15.1, MacBook Pro 14" (M4 Pro)

I didnt even had to set a right-aligned tab, it just worked fine with the right alignment only. Thanks a lot again walt.farrell
