MikeTO Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 This was an issue in 2.5.2 (see link below) but it's worse in 2.5.3 now. Might be Mac only. Start Publisher and create a new document Using Section Manager, set starting page number to 2, name the section as test, and set the page numbering to i,ii,iii. Click Close Create a new document Open Section Manager - the values from document 1 will be shown instead of the values for the new document Download a free PDF manual for Affinity Publisher 2.6 Download a quick reference chart for Affinity's Special Characters MacBook Pro (M4 Pro, Tahoe 26.1) and iPad Air (M2, iPadOS 26.1)
Staff Affinity Info Bot Posted June 17, 2024 Staff Posted June 17, 2024 An issue raised in this thread ("Section Manager doesn't always reflect the contents of the currently viewed document") has now been reported to the developers by the testing team (Ref: AF-3505). Thank you very much for reporting this issue to us.
Staff Sean P Posted June 17, 2024 Staff Posted June 17, 2024 Hi MikeTO, Thanks for the heads up - this issue actually does affect 2.5.2 as well (can replicate by simply giving it a section name or changing the page numbering style). I believe its a reflection issue, as adding a new section will update the dialog to be the correct values. I shall get this logged however. Thanks for letting us know.
