Selection Brush Tool

Recommended Posts

I have had Affinity Photo iPad Version 1 since it first came out, used it very much back then.  But in these years since I have not and decided to get back into iPhone  photography.  I am trying to blur the background in a selfie portrait that I took.  Reread the tutorial for that and first step is to select the Selection Brush. I am in the Photo Persona, I have duplicated a Pixel Layer and look to the Tools on the left hand side and I do not have a Selection Brush.  I know back when I used to use this software I had one but not today.  Is ther another way to blur the background than starting with the Selection Brush, is it located another place, ??  Can you help?

Welcome to the Affinity forums.

That's your problem; you need to be in the Selections Persona.
