stratboy
Hi, the main thing affinity designer needs, for my workflow, and for me to decide to definitely switch from adobe products, is the ability to correctly import and retain vector smart objects from PSD files (often produced by other designers) without rasterizing them.Thank you, regards krystal

fdelaneau
Being able to open and work with smart objects is the last big missing thing for me. Importing PSD files with flattened smart objects is nice and you sometimes get away with it but in many cases you need to edit the smart object itself and right now you are stuck paying Photoshop. I think this should be a priority since most AD/AP users where using Photoshop before and might have files containing smart objects. Another good reason is that nowadays there are thousands of PSD files available online that are relying on smart objects. This is a huge ressources source that you can’t tap as long as smart objects are not fully supported. keppes
