Seeing this error message far too often AD

Recommended Posts

Hi,

So I've been doing my first large project for a client using Affinity designer and about 40-50% of the time when I hit the save button I get presented with the attached error message.

I couldn't tell you what I'm doing at the time this occurs as it happens so often I can't pinpoint what could be causing it.

Can someone shed some light as I'm losing many hours of work due to it.

Thanks

Can we have details of your exact setup, please.  What hardware, NAS make and model, what type of network share (SMB, etc), whether the hard drive is attached by USB or built in to your network device.

Thanks.

Hi and sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

I'm using a Western Digital mycloud 2TB hard drive which is connected to my network and accessed through the wifi/ethernet depending on which device I'm using. When working on Affinity I'm using a Macbook pro Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015 which accesses the internet connection (and cloud storage) through Wifi only.

I hope this helps.

Thanks
