NoseDiver
Document automatically zooms in every minute or so even not doing anything and just have the app window open. I have a document open at 12% zoom and after a minute it zooms in to 15%..Increments go: 12%, 15%, 20%, 25% roughly every minute This only seems to happen when Affinity Photo is the active window, but NOT when my active window is something else like say Chrome Affected machine has the specs: Windows 11, AMD Ryzen 7 Nvidia 1660 Ti DOES NOT do it on my other laptop that has: Win 11, Ryzen 9 Nvidia 4080 Edited June 9 by NoseDiver

NoseDiver
Hi Ron, Just checked my settings and "scrubby zoom" was indeed on and I do use a mouse wheel to zoom. I'm fairly new to the program (like 2 days old) and don't really know what a scrubby zoom is. Either way, I turned off that setting, restarted the program and the behavior is still present and still happening. Thanks for the response! Ron P.
I wasn't sure if that would affect it. I've always used both, Scrubby and Mouse Wheel zoom, and have not seen this behavior. Are you doing anything at all when this happens? I've left a document open, didn't do anything for several minutes, there was no change in the zoom level. NoseDiver
Nope wasnt touching the mouse or keyboard at all in my laptop that it's happening on and it automatically zooms in every couple of seconds, or roughly a minute. It only happens on one of my machines but not the other one. I saw that there was another case like this from another user that posted on the Affinity subreddit. Staff stokerg Posted June 11 Staff Share Posted June 11 Hi @NoseDiver, This is also something I can't replicate on my Windows laptop which uses a Nvidia RTX 3050Ti. Do you have any other devices connected like a graphics tablet? If you do, if you disconnect it does that stop Affinity from zooming in? I can see from the Reddit post, that a reboot resolved it from them. I take it you've tried a reboot of your computer?
NoseDiver
Hi @stokerg Looks like a full system reboot did solve this weird bug. Thanks Stokerg! I thought the Reddit post only meant an app reboot and not a full system one. When it was happening, there were no graphics tablet connected, just a mouse and only seem to happen when the app is not minimized. Glad that it's been fixed! EDIT: Its happening again! LOL..I started messing around with a document then went over to Chrome to browse but I had Affinity Photo in view but wasnt the active window and the document began to zoom in automatically again. So weird. Might just have to live with it on the one machine, thankfully its not doing it on my better rig, i think...
