bbrother Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 App: Affinity Publisher 2.5.2 (windows) UI themes: both Dark and Light There are some UI bugs/issues in Text Style Editor → Paragraph → Bullets and Numbering → Text : List levels tags/tokens are too big (current level \#, level 1, 2, 3,4 etc.) (red arrow) No rounded edges in the text field wchich are standard in all text fields in the UI (red circles All tags used to format the numbered list in Text Style Editor should have the same size and display correctly in text field. All text fields in UI have rounded corners so add them to the fields in the Text Style Editor and the Paragraph panel where they are missing. Screenshot 1 Screenshot 2 (Paragraph panel) for comparision Correctly sized list levels tags (green arrow) No rounded edges in the text field. Quote
Dan C Posted June 14, 2024 Posted June 14, 2024 Thanks for your report and our apologies for the delayed response here as we have been exceptionally busy following the 2.5.x release and current sale. If the field only accepted text, then I'd certainly expect it to have rounded corners as the other fields do - but with a 'mixed media' field, it may have been a conscious decision to display this differently. Therefore I'll be including this within the aforementioned development log as a question to our team, to confirm if this is expected for this field, or if rounded corners should be present. I hope this helps! Quote

I see it differently. It doesn't matter if the field accepts text only or mixed media as you call it. These tokens are only an addition and facilitate formatting, in themselves they do not constitute a significant reason to deviate from the rule that fields should have rounded corners. Dan C 1 Quote
