RichiePhoto Posted June 7, 2024 Posted June 7, 2024 This is a sample of what I'm getting compared to affinity photo files. I'm using version 2.52 of both apps. I'm using Windows 11 Quote Photo, Designer and Publisher v2.5 User
GarryP Posted June 8, 2024 Posted June 8, 2024 I don’t know if this still works with Windows 11 but, try right-clicking on the file in File Explorer and choosing Properties from the contextual menu. Then look at the “Opens with” setting. If it doesn’t say “Affinity Designer 2” then you can change it via the Change button. RichiePhoto 1 Quote

GarryP Posted June 8, 2024 Posted June 8, 2024 Thanks for the information. Can you try changing the application to what it already is, just in case that ‘gives the OS a bit of a kick up the bum’? (Just click on the Change button and select the Affinity Designer 2 application.) Have you tried restarting your machine since you last updated the application? Quote
