Very pleased with the recent update, thank you (2.5.2). But there are some annoyances. I drew an illustration using pencil lines with different thickness of stroke pressure. Then I exported it to SVG. This SVG I then open with Illustrator. So some strokes that are no different from neighboring strokes suddenly appear rasterized for some reason. Also, these same strokes simply disappear when Expand Stroke is applied.

If I move these strokes a bit, then all is Ok, but other strokes will be rasterized or disappear. Strange. I have a feeling that some quota is set for mandatory rasterization/disappearance of strokes. In the end I built an illustration in Illustrator from two SVG versions.

By the way, exporting to EPS produces a bunch of rasterized fragments. Why? I use only vector tools. This is not quite normal. Please pay attention to drawing with the “Pencil” tool with variable thickness of the vector line, please.

@AlesMZ We could do with seeing how your document was set up, including the stroke/curve. As well as the export settings just in case.

Did you also try opening the SVG file again in our app as well to see if the same strokes where also showing as rasterised?

Here's the document. All lines except the numeral 1 and the letter S are drawn with the same pencil vector brush. Select all the elements and click on Expand Stroke. As a result, some lines will disappear (and become a raster when exported to SVG). However, if you press Ctr+Z and change something, for example, add new strokes, move objects or nodes, then other strokes will disappear, and those that disappeared before will be fine.

Regarding the number 1 and the letter S. Note their tips in the pink circles. The Expand operation gives them very glitchy nibs. While doing this though, the outermost node in the stroke profile is at the outermost position and in theory this should all become as sharp as the start node. Pay attention to this as well, please.

@AlesMZ Sorry for the delay.

You're file been logged with our developers to take a look at due to a number of issues.

1, Exporting to SVG, even with Rasterise > Nothing set, results in some curves becoming rasterised if done in 2.5.3.
2, When using Expanding Stroke, some are disappearing.
3, Expand Stroke also having issues with pressure profiles.

You have the option of reverting back to 2.4.2 to use which will resolve some of the issues.

@Lee D Thank you for your response.
I hope your developers will find a solution to the problem. So I will just work carefully with the application of the current version, hoping for a solution to this problem in the next update.

Besides, I work on an iPad and install programs from Appstore. Is it possible for me to install a different oldest version than what is offered in Appstore? Is that possible?

It’s not possible to roll back I really hope they figure this out because we shouldn’t be reliant on future updates where it “may be” fixed or pushed back to the next update on such bugs that essentially make the program unusable when the previous version worked fine ;-;
On top of that files created in a newer version won’t open in the older version so it completely interferes with moving projects from iPad at 2.5.X to desktop at 2.4.2 so there’s currently no way to make sure lines are behaving properly and I’m very mad about it 3:<
