OSX Catalina Publisher 2.5 -app hang out, need to force quit

it happened when I try to copy from one publisher document to other and yust can't, copy paste nothing happened yust app hang up, first document is made from 2.4, new one is in 2.5 version.

yust cant copied or select anything in this document

Hi @Iztok,

There are several known issues with the v2.5.0 release... I can't be 100% sure but it sounds as though the problems you're seeing when copying and pasting may be a direct result of these issues...

The current advice is to join the Beta program which you can do here: https://affinity.serif.com/affinity-beta-program/ download the current Beta, v2.5.0 (2486) which you can run independently alongside the Retail version and see if that fixes the problem...

I dont now anymore, what happened no snaping I check, some of text are OK, some are hidden, some stay in position in container, some are ligning on some position that I don't know what is the couse of that line

Could you make a quick screen recording that shows the whole UI with the Layers Panel visible so we can see what you are attempting to do and what isn't working...

Did you adjust or turn the Text Wrap off for the Picture Frame?

This is a known bug in v2.5.0 and v2.5.2 which I believe effectively falls under AF-3243 and happens when copying and pasting between two documents using different DPI values.

If you ensure both documents use the same DPI, i.e., 300 dpi then the elements should copy across correctly but let us know if that is not the case...

yes , change position of photo, foto doesn't effect text, you see wrap isn't change dimension and remain bigger, tah is the bug

I can solve the problem, but you must resolve warp problem when make picture bigger or smaller that warp also change dimension, also problem is, that some text is bigger other smaller, but before transform dimension was the same

Have a look at the Picture Frame Properties, it sounds as though they are currently set to None...

I don't believe this is a bug, perhaps more of a feature request, i.e., adding an option in the Text Wrap window to Scale with Object...
