How can I reset the grid colors to default in Affinity Designer V2?

I found this post in the forums, which has been answered, but it seems a little outdated because it looks the the grid options and UI has changed since then:

Any help on how to reset this would be appreciated or the values for me to be able reset them myself to default values would be appreciated!

From the View menu select the Grid and Axis option and then set the RGB values for the Grid lines and Pixel grid lines to 204,204,204 and this will change the colour of the gridlines to the default value.

As noted in the linked post, you may need to set the alpha values, too. The default primary grid colour is RGBA(204,204,204,89) and the default secondary grid colour is RGBA(204,204,204,45). It would be really helpful to have a button for this in the Grid and Axis dialog.

I am able to set the RGB values of the colors in the menu but I don't see where to set the alpha values.

Also, (at least in AF Designer), the options are "Grid lines" "Subdivision lines" and "Pixel grid lines"; I do not see primary and secondary. So I'm not sure which you are referring to @Alfred. The horizontal sliders to the right of each of the three options is the opacity. Is that the same as the alpha value? If so, I don't know how to manually input a precise value.

I don’t even see where to set the RGB values! :(

I’m assuming that ‘primary’ refers to the Grid lines and ‘secondary’ refers to the Subdivision lines. If that assumption is correct, this is yet another example of inconsistent terminology.

Yes, the alpha value is indeed the opacity value. There’s no indication here (on Windows) of what the current value is, let alone how to set it numerically.

No, I’m saying that the linked posts about this issue refer to ‘primary’ and ‘secondary’, but (like you) I don’t see those terms in the UI.

You can only set them, I think, using the XML file shown in the post that was linked earlier. Via the UI, all you can do is adjust the slider for Opacity.
