I've been watching Youtube videos with no luck, finding how I might remove background colour in an image/map (attached of UK/Europe) or create an outline map (like the north island map). Is it possible in Affinity Publisher?image.thumb.png.53729378d570b99f6e09c03ffe2e7a25.pngimage.png.00c726995177f79a6bd09de0e37e88df.png

There are plenty of SVG (vector) maps of Europe available, just search the web for svg europe map .

You can then remove the bits you don’t want and then add the bits you do want.

That will probably be quicker and easier than trying to manipulate the bitmap map into a vector map (which would be difficult to do with just Publisher which doesn’t have bitmap manipulation tools).

Unless you also own Photo, which gives you the tools you need in the Photo Persona of Publisher.

But I agree, finding an SVG map and using that is probably the better approach.
