walt.farrell Posted May 31, 2024 Posted May 31, 2024 I'm signed in to my Account in Photo and Publisher (both 2.5.2.2486) but Photo says all my content is installed, and Publisher says nothing is installed. Both were installed using the MSIX installers. Photo: Publisher: I do see that the ID field (which I've obscured above, as I'm not sure if it's sensitive) is different. They are identical except that Photo ends in -X and Publisher in -Y. I've also started Designer (same beta release, also MSIX) and it also shows an ID ending in -Y, but it shows all the content as installed. Staff DanG Posted May 31, 2024 Staff Posted May 31, 2024 I'm struggling to reproduce that here unfortunately. A few questions - Did you already have the content installed before updating? Were you already signed in to your account before updating? Does the problem persist on a relaunch? And if so, does it matter what order you launch the apps in? Cheers Dan G Quote
walt.farrell Posted May 31, 2024 Author Posted May 31, 2024 Thanks, @DanG. 1. Yes, it was installed. 2. Yes. Or, at least, as far as I know I was signed in. It's hard to say for sure as I can't guarantee I'd looked, but I think the Account icon in the Toolbar was green in Photo and Publisher. But I did need to sign-in in Designer, which is when I noticed the discrepancy. 3. I haven't relaunched since I noticed this, in case there was any further diagnosis needed before doing that. I'll try later and let you know. Staff DanG Posted June 3, 2024 Staff Posted June 3, 2024 Thanks @walt.farrell, Your answer to 2 proved to be the vital bit. By signing out before upgrading and then signing in again post-upgrade, I was able to reproduce it. I have a few more tests to run to see if it makes a difference which one you sign in to and then I'll raise an issue for it. In the meantime, I can also confirm that restarting the app does resolve the issue, so there is at least a very easy workaround. Thanks again Dan G Patrick Connor 1 Quote
walt.farrell Posted June 3, 2024 Author Posted June 3, 2024 Thanks, @DanG. And yes, restarting the applications seems to resolve the issue.
