george681 Posted May 31, 2024 Posted May 31, 2024 (edited) Hyphenation for Bulgarian does not work in Affinity 2 under Windows 11, the BG dictionary does not appear in the Language/Hyphenation menu. I did everything as described but it did not appear. With Affinity Publisher 1 it works correctly on the same machine. On another machine under Windows 10, it works. I've read everything I found on the topic but can't cope with the problem. I'm attaching 2 samples Affinity 1 file and Affinity 2 file where it could be seen that text in Affinity 1 is hyphenated and in Affinity 2 is not hyphenated. I'm attaching Screenshots where it is visible that the dictionary BG is not visible in Affinity 2 menu as in Affinity 1. Please help! You have changed the dictionary location in Settings, Tools, Additional Dictionary Folder. Don't do that. Hi @george681, welcome in the forum. The reason why it doesn't work for you is because you specified wrong path in "Additional dictionary folder:" your path is: C:\ProgramData\Affinity\Common\2.0\Dictionaries\bg_BG correct path: C:\ProgramData\Affinity\Common\2.0\Dictionaries\ ■ - error in the path. "bg_BG" folder name should not be included in the path. Ty again and Follow these steps: Create a folder and name it "bg_BG". Copy bg_BG.aff, bg_BG.dic, hyph_bg_BG.dic files to that folder. Copy the "bg_BG" folder to Dictionaries folder. The "bg_BG" should be a subfolder wchich sits inside Dictionaries. Make sure [C:\ProgramData\Affinity\Common\2.0\Dictionaries\] is the path. Restart Affinity Publisher. As you can see on the screenshot everything works if the path is correct.
