As in title, I am unable to view .afdesign thumbnails in File Explorer, only the AF icon is shown. It worked in V1 (which I still have installed) but not in V2. It is important to me that it works as I have many files where the only variations is 1 number in the file name and it is much easier to see a visual representation. Frustratingly, I have just tried creating an .afdesign file in V1 and I can view that OK on File Explorer.

I know that there are workarounds such as saving as both .afdesign and jpeg but I'm trying to avoid that both from an extra workflow and more disk space perspective. I have searched for answers on the forum and have realised that others have had issues when using One Drive but I don't use it as I use Dropbox. I have seen Adobe Bridge and XnPViewer recommended but neither works for me.

Please can anyone suggest anything that would work in File Explorer or suggest an alternative? Thanks for any help.

Don't forget to tick ‘Save thumbnails with documents’ (‘Edit’, ‘Settings’, ‘General’, ‘Save thumbnails with documents’).

Thank you, I did do this earlier just after I posted this but it didn't seem to make any difference. I tried a couple of things which again didn't seem to work. I went out for the evening and when I came back I can now see the thumbnails! I don't know what made the difference but maybe it was saving the thumbnails with document.
