hugh.a.nagle
Is there a way of hiding handles when using the pencil tool? I use the tool a lot for annotating scanned pdfs which I place onto a locked layer and then "write" on top. Thanks in advance.
Staff MEB Posted May 21, 2016 Staff Share Posted May 21, 2016 Hi hugh.a.nagle, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) No, it's not possible to hide the handles (nodes). Have you tried to use the Paint Brush Tool with a small width in Pixel Persona instead? That's the methodology I should have been using from the outset for my particular purpose. Great stuff. Thanks.
JimmyJack
Hi hugh.a.nagle, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) No, it's not possible to hide the handles (nodes). Have you tried to use the Paint Brush Tool with a small width in Pixel Persona instead? Why in Pixel Persona? In Draw Persona the nodes/handles don't remain visible when using Paint Brush and the curves remain editable.
Staff MEB Posted May 21, 2016 Staff Share Posted May 21, 2016 Hi JimmyJack, True, but since this for annotation purposes only there's no need to keep them editable (as vectors), unless i've missed something.
