ronnyb Posted May 27, 2024 Posted May 27, 2024 Not sure if this is a new bug or has always been this way, but it doesn't make sense. I selected 2 objects to align; one is smaller and locked in layers studio, the other is larger and unlocked. I wanted the larger one (unlocked) to center align to the smaller one, but AD ignored the Lock status and moves the smaller one to be centered within the larger one. I know I can use Key Object selection, but that's beside the point. A "locked" object should stay anchored in place and override default behavior as describe above. Ron P. Posted May 28, 2024 Posted May 28, 2024 Does the same in all three apps. IF it's not a bug, then the whole purpose of locking a layer goes out the window.... ronnyb and Alfred 1 1 Quote Affinity Photo 2.5..; Affinity Designer 2.5..; Affinity Publisher 2.5..; Affinity2 Beta versions.
