Bluenix
After updating updating Affinity Designer and Affinity Publisher to version 2.5.0 I am no longer able to launch neither application. Both applications observe the same behaviour: After launch the application, the startup window is displayed: After showing "Loading fonts..." it abruptly closes. The main application never opens. The problem persists despite reinstalling Affinity Publisher from the website. Hangman
Hi @Bluenix and welcome to the forums, Several known issues with the v2.5.0 release have been addressed either via the 2.5.1 update or the 2.5.2 Beta. The latest advice depending on where you downloaded 2.5.0 from is shown here... tacobob
Same thing happened to me with the 2.5.0 update. Splash screen, loading fonts then back to desktop. Windows 11. Running 2.5.2.2478 Beta fixed it but I rolled back to the 2.4 for now, awaiting the stable release. Hangman
