EricB007 Posted May 26, 2024 Posted May 26, 2024 You will see in this screenshot that the text shows up in the Master Pages, but not in the artboard. Nothing I do to change colors has an effect. I do not have this problem with the same versions v1 and v2 latest updates on Mac OS Big Sur 11.7.10. But no text shows up in OS Ventura 13.4.1 . I have searched forums and internet. Nothing seems to be close. Should I report this as a bug? Quote
walt.farrell Posted May 26, 2024 Posted May 26, 2024 Welcome to the Affinity forums, @EricB007. It might help to see the Layers panel, with those text layers visible in it. Also, please confirm which release of Publisher has the problem, and whether you purchased directly from the Affinity Store, or from the Mac App Store. These were purchased directly from Affinity. I typed the version numbers as seen in the Pages palettes. 1.10.8 and 2.5 (2.4 when I first posted; 2.5 in the screenshot below) Edited May 29, 2024 by EricB007 Used 2.4 and 2.5 with same problem walt.farrell 1 Quote

Neither in v. 2.5 or 1.10.8 Quote
MikeTO Posted May 30, 2024 Posted May 30, 2024 Is there a reason you're using Ventura 13.4.1 instead of the last 13.6.7 version? A lot of bugs were fixed after the version you're using. So in the Settings > Performance > Display I set it to Software - and that works for me. So give that a try. Side note: Originally installed 14.1, and have done 2-3 updates - now at 14.5. So updating seems to work OK in the version I have. MikeTO and EricB007 2 Quote
