Designer 2.5.2.2478 Typography Panel for some fonts impossible to change size. For example, font raleway.

The same thing with Photo. Publisher works well.

Hi @anto,

I'm not having any issues resizing the Typography panel from the top or the bottom in Designer 2.5.2.2478 on Windows, it's working the same across all three apps for me so I'm not entirely sure why you're seeing the issue...

Affinity Designer 2.5.7 | Affinity Photo 2.5.7 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.7
Affinity Designer Beta 2.6.0.3125 | Affinity Photo Beta 2.6.0.3125 | Affinity Publisher Beta 2.6.0.3125

That was the font I tried since you mentioned you were having an issue with Raleway...

Then how do you explain the behavior in the video?

I really don't know, I can only report that it's working for me, perhaps others who have the 2.5.2.2478 Beta installed can try it to see if they see the same issue you're experiencing...

It worked only after Control+Start.
A related question arises: under what conditions should I press Control and erase all settings? Why did this panel work in Publisher, but not in Designer and Photo?

What types of problems can be solved by Control+Start? And what data do I lose?

When you start the application using the Ctrl key you get a Clear User Data dialog with many possibilities. You should use the minimum set of them that resolves your problem.

For example, with a problem like you described you would not want to select "Reset Brushes", because you're not having a problem related to brushes.

I am not sure exactly what clearing "user data" clears, but it's relatively safe, in my opinion. You'll lose window sizes/locations, and some application default settings. But you don't lose the stuff that has its own check boxes further down in the list.

I'm just wondering why it worked because I didn't change any settings in the beta version, let alone in Designer.

@anto I don't have Windows, but try choosing Window > Studio > Reset Studio (you might want to save your studio setup as a preset first if you haven't already). Are you able to resize the Typography panel now with that font selected?

I did it through control. I didn't realize that Studio was about panels. Thank you.
It would be interesting to have a description of the problems (Most common problems), and what menu function can be used (what reset it is) to get things working again.
