Does not work correctly with laser cutter

Recommended Posts

I have a laser cut machine and I use it since many years with affinity designer.

Since version 2, I have many problems to launch cuts. The best version I had that worked fine was 1.9.1.979.

How I launch a cut : I define a shape, line has to be 0.1 pt thick. Very often, the machine does not cut anything 😞, I don't understand why.
Sometimes I have to copy/cut the shape in the older version software. When I copy it, thick is set to 0.

Hope it's clear enough.

@Isa22 Welcome to the forums.

Are you printing/sending the file direct to the laser cutter using Affinity Designer or are you exporting to another format and loading into another app?

If so, which format and app?

I print directly from affinity designer. The only thing I have to set so that the laser will correctly cut, is the thickness (0.1pt)
