Version 2.5.0 broken

I updated using the msi.exe system. Everything installed normally but the program would not then run: stalls at the initialisation screen (never gets to loading fonts). I have re-installed 2.4.2. I see that others are reporting the same problem.

As you've mentioned, our team are aware of this issue and we're working to resolve it ASAP. In the meantime rolling back to the previous version is our suggested workaround, so thanks for letting us know you have already completed this.

The issue "2.5 Windows users crashing during 'loading fonts'" (REF: AF-3190) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.5.2.2478".
This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
