benjatn
I use IPhoto in Mac and all my pics are imported in JPEG even though I have taken them in Raw in my camera...how can I import them in Raw and can I do it through Affinity or an attachable application? Staff Lee D Posted May 16, 2016 Staff Share Posted May 16, 2016 Hi benjatn, Welcome to the forums. If you're using iPhoto, do you also have Aperture installed as this is required to support the RAW files from a Sony Alpha ILCE-6000, see this link for more info. You might find it easier to simply copy over your RAW files to a folder and then open them directly in Affinity Photo. Hope this helps. Staff Lee D Posted May 17, 2016 Staff Share Posted May 17, 2016 I just plug in a card reader and just copy the files direct from the memory card into a new folder on my HDD, then I can open them in Affinity Photo and start editing.
