Hangman
This is marked as a bug fix in the 2449 Beta... • Preflight Panel should warn about non-aspect scaling on QR Codes [AF-2751] But it appears that the preflight warning is not activated for QR Code shapes distorted by having different horizontal and vertical scales, when 'Look inside placed documents' is enabled in the preflight QR Code preset, nor when the QR Code is exported if editing the Embedded document... Staff MEB Posted May 14 Staff Share Posted May 14 Hi @Hangman, I confirm it doesn't warn when the QR is distorted inside a linked/embedded file when 'Look inside placed documents' is enabled in the preflight QR Code preset. I will log this. Preflight is issuing a warning when editing an embedded/linked file with a distorted QR code for me. Am i misunderstanding something here? Hangman
Hi @MEB, Sorry, I could have phrased that a little better... I see the preflight warning if I simply distort a QR Code and then export it... By 'Embedded' I meant if I Place a PDF containing a distorted QR Code with the document image placement policy set to 'Embedded' and then click 'Edit Document' in the context toolbar so I'm now editing the actual QR Code. If I export the Embedded document there is no preflight warning here either even after setting the option in the preflight preset for the Embedded file...
