They work just like in the Affinity Publisher public beta. In general, some new functions that are requested come quickly, but some take a long time. It depends on Serif's priorities, and the difficultly of implementing the function. The latest presets are for iPhone 11, which is from 2019. You can create new presets, as explained in the Create new documents help topic.
