Hello Affinity Community, I wanted to ask if anyone knows how to activate text rules in Affinity Designer 2.5 beta in order to tabulate texts, since it doesn't appear in the View menu.

The instruction manual shows the following, but in V2.5 it does not exist in that contextual menu.

Thanks You Mike,

I think it would be good for the user experience to have it incorporated into Affinity Designer since you can't access the Publisher interface from Designer. And it's inconvenient not to be able to tabulate any text in Affinity Designer as required by the design being done.

You can use "Edit in Publisher" from the File Menu.

Thanks you,
From my point of view as a user experience designer, I believe it's a very poor experience, just like the "Paste without formatting" menu in Affinity Designer. I'm a fan of Affinity, but there is room for improvement, and it should happen soon.

But if you also own Photo you can access everything that Designer provides from within Publisher, except for the Export Persona.

So, in that case, you could just do your work in Publisher when you're going to be dealing with significant text functions.
